There are essential fatty acids (good fats) such as Omega 3 that are beneficial to our health. Another fatty acid is Omega 6. Both of these have different functions in human health. It is essential to have the proper amounts of each to reap the most benefits. This is supported by health professional the world over.

Omega 3s contains DHA and EPA. The most abundant sources are found in oily fish and cold water fish. Salmon, sardines, mackerel, and herring are all abundant sources of Omega 3. It has recently been discovered that the Hoki fish that live in the waters off of New Zealand is one of the purest sources of fish oil as their waters are far less contaminated and have only minimal amounts of toxins such as mercury.

Omega 6s is found in various foods. They include cereals, breads, margarine, and bulk lcarnitine that are fried. In excess these foods bulk dmae-bitartrate cause health problems like obesity, heart diseases, and high blood pressure to name but a few.

The benefits of Omega 3 vitamins supplements come about through DHA and EPA. These fatty acids are necessary because they strengthen the immune system and nervous system. A DHA deficiency is indicated in people who have weak memories or who suffer with depression and the "blues". Under the advisement of their physician they should increase their intake of Omega 3 either in capsule forms or from fish consumption.

The human body does not make its own Omega 3 so it must come direct from food sources including fish oil and some plant oils. They are easier to take in capsule form as well as liquid forms. It can also be gotten from the consumptions of the fish mentioned above. The most benefits come from taking the supplements or eating fish regularly.

People with adequate amounts of Omega 3 are at a low risk of developing heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, and degenerative diseases. Omega 3 has also been said to cure depression including post partum depression, bipolar disorder, and hyperactivity in children.

When searching for a supplement be sure that the fish oil used is pharmaceutical grade fish oil. In order to purchase coenzima q10 that standard the oils are molecularly distilled a process that removes impurities and toxins. This also kills bacteria in the fish oil.

Omega 3 vitamins supplements come in both liquid and capsule form. They are safe for anyone since they do not cause side effects. The typical dose is 3 or 4 capsules daily for most healthy people including those who want to lose weight. A physician will know the proper doses that are necessary for an individual to get the most benefits.
